Jacob’s personal wellness journey is one he hopes his clients will find inspiring. As he grew up, Jacob was a young athlete playing volleyball, soccer and basketball However, throughout his teens he began to lose interest. After years of unhealthy eating habits, and graduating from the Financial Services program at 20, he began his weight loss journey. It wasn’t until he began his weight loss journey, and achieving his first real goal of completing a Tough Mudder, that he recognized his true passion. He left the business industry and began his venture into the Health and Wellness field. Since January 2015, Jacob has accomplished a lot in the field. He became a Certified Personal Trainer and Healthy Eating and Weight Loss Specialist, earning his certification through canfitpro. He has recently completed the Health, Wellness and Fitness program from Mohawk College with honours designation in 2016. Throughout the duration of his program, he was active in the Health and Wellness community at Mohawk College by volunteering his time with Mental Health in Motion, educating students about mental health. On his spare time, he also trained young athletes and acted as a teacher’s assistant in a classroom environment. Now, he’s excited to share his experiences and expertise to his clients and helping them reach their health and wellness goals. Jake is also a 3-time winner of the Hamilton Spectator’s Reader’s Choice Awards, winning Diamond for Fitness Instructor in 2016 and 2017 and finishing Top Ten for Personal Trainer in 2017.
