I quit a career in the corporate world after 10 years, to focus on my passion for wellness and helping others. I’m currently a certified personal trainer and I attend Mohawk College for Health, Wellness, and Fitness and as well as Diabetes Education. I’m a very dedicated to advocating for mental health and volunteer my time with organizations with similar values and beliefs as mine. There’s a strong connection between fitness and mental wellness and I believe even the little effort goes a long way to a healthier life! IDEAL for me is about community and supporting each other from staff to members, I eventually would like to move from the sitting behind the desk to kicking members butts on the floor!
